The Prime ICT Club is a student organization at Prime College. Our purpose for establishing an ICT Club aims in raising ICT awareness and promoting idea sharing in the ICT sector. This provides an opportunity for students to better and further understand the potential and future of information technology.
Prime IT Club is an organization formed by the students of Prime College, the first IT-enabled College. The very first tenure of Prime IT Club was led by Abhinav Singh Dangol as President in 2004. This club was formed for the purpose of raising IT awareness and promoting it not only in the respective college but throughout the nation. It has been more than a decade since its establishment, and this IT club now remains as one of the very active IT associations ever formed. They conduct several IT Seminars, workshops and counseling programs throughout the year which involves the students, faculties and IT industries in Nepal.

Activities:
Prime IT Club has been actively organizing several programs throughout the year for empowering IT knowledge. This club recruits the active and willing volunteers even from the non-IT field to participate in their activities to flow the IT knowledge everywhere around. The huge main event of Prime IT Club is Prime ICT Meetup with the theme “Industry-Academia Collaboration” that takes place in the Prime College itself. Problems faced:
Prime IT Club is one of the associations that consists of an equal number of male and female executive members, but the question that this club meets is the least participation of the Prime College students themselves during the programs, said one of the executive members. Prime College is the first ICT enabled college of Nepal and has been actively involved in Social and educational sector.
