Shivam Cement Announces Free Cement and NPR 2.1 Million Contribution for Flood Recovery

Shivam Cement Limited and its subsidiary, Shivam Holdings Limited, have announced material aid and financial assistance to support relief, rescue, and housing reconstruction in flood- and landslide-affected regions following the Bhadra 10 disaster in Rasuwa and surrounding areas.
Shivam Cement Flood Relief Contribution
Housing Reconstruction and Material Distribution
Direct Housing Assistance: Shivam Cement Limited, in coordination with the Government of Nepal, will distribute 11,000 sacks of Shivam Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) free of charge to rebuild damaged homes.
Beneficiary Quota: The free building material will support a total of 110 flood-affected households, with each family receiving 100 sacks of cement.
Financial Relief Fund Support
Cash Contribution: Subsidiary entity Shivam Holdings Limited contributed NPR 2.1 million (NPR 21 lakh) to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Rescue Fund.
Target Allocation: The financial aid is allocated toward ongoing search, rescue, immediate relief distribution, and long-term community rehabilitation efforts.
Corporate Commitment to Recovery
Inter-Agency Cooperation: Shivam Cement reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to partner with government agencies, local authorities, and disaster relief organizations to assist affected families during post-disaster rehabilitation.
