Six more companies in Nepal have received the license of venture capital from the Securities Board of Nepal.
NIBL Ace Capital Limited, NMB Capital, NIC Asia Capital, Prabhu Capital Limited, Nabil Investment Banking Limited, and Lakshmi Capital Market Limited have received permission from the board to act as venture capital.
Earlier, the Securities Board had granted venture capital licenses to Avsar Equity Limited and Global Equity Fund.
It is believed that venture capital will contribute to Nepal’s entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem development.
