Softwarica College, in partnership with Hack the Box, is set to host the highly anticipated “Capture the Flag Bootcamp 2023” event in Nepal. This cybersecurity-focused boot camp, held at Softwarica College Block E, aims to provide students with an immersive learning experience and enhance their skills in the field of cybersecurity.
The “Capture the Flag” (CTF) event involves participants exploiting vulnerabilities and solving challenges to obtain “flags” strategically placed within computer systems and servers. By engaging in this event, students will gain practical knowledge and develop critical thinking abilities, enabling them to approach cybersecurity from both offensive and defensive perspectives.
Open to second and third-year students, the competition expects around 150 participants. The event emphasizes education, skill development, teamwork, and networking opportunities. It serves as a platform for security assessment, research, and hands-on experience in IT, providing valuable industry exposure to participants.
