Xiaomi launches its flagship smartphone Xiaomi 12 Pro in Nepal. Here, we will dive through the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of the Xiaomi 12 Pro in Nepal.
Xiaomi 12 Pro Overview:
Design and Display
The Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 6.73-inch E5 AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a WQHD+ resolution with an HDR 10+ certified screen and a max brightness of 1000 nits (HBM) and 1500 nits (Peak). Furthermore, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
It uses second-generation LTPO technology that allows the touch sampling rate of 480Hz. In addition, the screen is slightly curved with Dolby’s vision.
In terms of design, the back has a matte finish with a rectangular camera cut out and curved edges.
The device weighs 205 grams and has a thickness of 8.2mm with an 89.6% screen-to-body ratio.
Performance
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU manufactured on 4nm technology. This chipset includes an Octa-core (1×3.00 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.50 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510) processor. Similarly, the Adreno 730 GPU handles graphics.
In terms of memory, it comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone does not feature a dedicated microSD card slot
Furthermore, the smartphone boots Android 12 on top of MIUI13. Xiaomi has also integrated a vapor chamber cooling arrangement to keep the core temperature under control.
Camera
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a triple-camera setup at the back. It is powered by a 50MP SONY IMX707main sensor with an aperture of f/1.9 and Dual Pixel PDAF support. This is accompanied by a 50MP SONY ultra-wide sensor and telephoto. For better night photographs, the gadget has an LED flash. The device can record videos with a resolution of up to 8k at a rate of 24 frames per second. According to Xiaomi, this new sensor can collect 49% more light than its predecessor. It is accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP telephoto sensor.
In addition, the Xiaomi 12 Pro includes a new function dubbed “Cyber Focus,” which it inherits from the CyberDog. The phone will be able to distinguish various topics and follow their travels as a result of this.
On the front, there’s a 32MP sensor with the ability to record 1080P at 30/60fps.
Audio
There is an audio system with stereo tuning at 24bit/192Hz. Sadly, the Xiaomi 12 Pro does not provide a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Moving on, the system is powered by a large 4,600mAh battery pack with a 10 W reverse charging feature. Xiaomi promises to charge from 0-100% in 18 minutes with 100 W fast charging and 0 to 100% in 42 minutes with 50W fast charging. The 12 Pro is the first Xiaomi phone to come with the in-house Surge P1 chip. An accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass are among the other sensors.
