Sure enough, the world witnessed the debut of Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 in an online event on April 30 featuring the first-ever Helio G85 chipset on a smartphone. However, the company had already introduced the Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max in India in March. So, get ready to know more about Redmi Note 9 Price in Nepal, its availability, and full specifications.

Redmi Note 9 Overview

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor and features an IPS LCD display. Moreover, it has an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 with a screen-to-body ratio of 83.36%.

The rear packs a Quad camera setup. Buyers get a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, 8MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2, 2MP macro lens with f/2.4, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4. As the rear camera supports autofocus, the front sports a 13MP selfie camera.

Also, the Redmi Note 9 runs Android 10 and has MIUI 11 on top. It really steps up the game with a powerful and bigger 5020mAh battery, unlike its predecessor. The company has downgraded the RAM to 3GB and 64GB internal storage which is very much unlike Xiaomi.

Not really sure why, but we believe its to fit the smartphone on a mid-range budget.

The smartphone ditches the Snapdragon chipset by favoring the Helio G85 as mentioned earlier. It also packs a gaming-friendly chip as Mali G52 MC2 GPU handles the graphics. Similarly, the phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor which is odd for its predecessor series. And, let’s not forget the IR blaster on this one.

It has better connectivity options with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00. USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G support. The Redmi Note 9 also supports face unlock.

Now, with Redmi 10X and 10X pro arriving with 5G, Xiaomi will most likely be rebranding the Redmi Note 9 for the release of the 4G variant of 10X in Nepal. Why? Well, it’s because, unfortunately, we don’t have 5G in Nepal yet.
