Apple recently rolled out various crucial updates for iPhones. It rolled out iOS 14.5 to all i-phone users last night and brings plenty of new features. The list of 11 features one must know is really important and will change the way people use iPhones.

1. Unlocking the iPhone with your mask

Mask has been compulsion almost every time due to the world pandemic. iOS 14.5 brings the feature that makes unlocking iPhones without taking off the mask. But you also need an Apple watch as well to use this feature.

2. Double privacy with App Tracking Transparency

Apple is always serious about user privacy and security of data and IOS 14.5 update has app tracking transparency which will require your permission before tracking.

3. Recalibration of battery for iPhone II series

This feature will help to know the actual battery capacity and performance of their device. Although it takes a few weeks to assess and recalibrate.

4. 200 new emojis available

Emojis are used by everyone. Now iPhone users will get 217 new emojis of various like a smiley face, headphone icons like AirPodsMax.

5. Siri gets new voices on iPhone and other features

There will be the availability of two voices on Siri. It also helps to make group face calls with iOS 14.5.

6. 5G support for dual-SIM on iPhones

The iPhone users who use dual-SIM on iPhones will get 5G connectivity on both, in other countries.

7. PS and X box controllers are now compatible with iPhones

All those who have PS5 or X box series X can now use the controller.

8. Support for Airtag arrives on iPhone

Apple unveiled Airtag a tracking device for items last week with iOS 14.5, the support for AirTag is now official.

9. All-new Podcasts app on iPhone

Podcasts give us information in general, the app will look like an Apple music app. Now you get a chance of enjoying the all-new podcasts on your phone with the iOS 14.5 update.

10. New features in the remainder app

Reminders on iOS 14.5 bring the option to sort by title, priority, due date, or creation date. Users can also print their reminder lists.

11. Apple Maps gets some Google Maps-like features.

Google has always been ahead in google mapping. Now with iOS 14.5, users will get features like reporting an accident and speeding points.
