The threat from cybercriminals has increased drastically in Nepal. Just the other day, Deepa Shree Niraula and Saroj Khanal’s Facebook Account has been hacked.

Garima Development Bank has launched a ‘Be careful’ campaign.

The national-level bank has launched a month-long campaign across all of its social networks with the aim of raising public awareness about the growing internet fraud/phishing in the overall banking system.

The bank will publish various awareness materials related to internet fraud/phishing from all of its social networks as part of this campaign.

The bank has been raising awareness through various posts, audios, and videos about fraudulent mobile banking transactions. And the risks of revealing one’s banking information to others.

Garima Development Bank’s IT department is also providing daily training to all of its employees as part of this campaign.

The bank currently operates 106 branch offices and 51 ATMs in 35 districts to provide convenient, safe, and high-quality service.
