Nepal Army has received the National ICT Award 2022. (Public Sector). On the occasion of National ICT Day, the Nepal Army received the National ICT Award.

The Nepal Army, the country’s most prestigious institution, has prioritized the use of information technology. In order to reduce the use of paper, all services and facilities are technologically connected.

The IT department is working around the clock to create a technologically advanced smart army. Following Covid 19, the Nepal Army was required to submit the details of the Foreign Travelers Record Keeping System, which was also used to monitor infected people. This system has received information from over 1.9 million people.

Using various technologies, the Nepal Army provided details to CCMC during Covid 19, including how infected all localities are and what their movements are.

Previously, during the 2015 earthquake, the Nepal Army monitored and immediately coordinated the rescue operation by posting all damage details online. During various disasters, the Nepal Army has attempted to rescue people and provide information using technology.

Similarly, smart gasoline is an important system. This system keeps track of patrols in national parks. This technology is proving to be very useful for maintaining wildlife information, live updates, and monitoring being monitored, as well as monitoring the smugglers.

This technology is used in all 14 of Nepal’s national parks. The Nepal Army is the world’s leading user of this technology.

In order to monitor the election, the Nepal Army is also making extensive use of digital technology. For the first time in Nepal, the organization created and implemented an online recruitment system.

The Nepal Army operates main and auxiliary data centers, and plans are being made to operate data centers outside of the valley.

The Nepalese Army has created its own video conferencing system. By emphasizing maximum use, development, and innovation of information technology, the Army is making its services and facilities more technologically friendly.
