Nepal Life Insurance 25th AGM 2025: Dividend, Bonus Shares and Financial Results

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited will hold its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) tomorrow, February 10, 2025. The meeting will take place at Hotel Vishwa in Birgunj, Parsa District, beginning at 9:00 AM.

The AGM will discuss several important proposals. The company will propose a 10% bonus share and an 11.05% cash dividend, which will be distributed after tax. Following this, a proposal to increase the company’s issued capital in line with the bonus share distribution will also be presented for approval.
Approval of Financial Statements
During the meeting, the company will review and approve the annual report and financial statements for the previous fiscal year. Additionally, the appointment of auditors for the current fiscal year will be discussed, and their remuneration will be decided.
Election of Directors
The AGM will also feature the election of three directors who will represent the general shareholders, also known as Group K. These positions are crucial for ensuring that the interests of the general shareholders are effectively represented on the board.

The company closed its books on January 22, 2025, for one day, in preparation for the AGM and dividend distribution. Shareholders who held shares on January 23, 2025, will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the proposed dividends.
