Nepal Telecom’s high-speed FTTH internet service has been expanded in Gulariya, the district headquarters of Bardiya district.
Sant Bahadur Sunar, the Chief District Officer, launched this service by talking to the Managing Director of Telecom, Dilliram Adhikari through FTTH service.
Deputy Manager of Nepal Telecom Nepalgunj Office Niraj Neupane, Information Officer Muktinath Gyawali, Gulariya Office Chief Jit Raj Shrestha, Federation of Nepali Journalists Lumbini State Treasurer Yam Ghimire, Ward Chairman Niraj Sharma, and senior journalist Kamal Panthi were present at the event.
Telecom has announced to celebrate this financial year as the year of FTTH service expansion. Along with this, the service has been extended to over 60 districts.
So far, the company has done digital mapping work for 11 lakhs and 74 thousand households to expand FTTH services.
