Nepal To launch its Satellite Within 2 Years

In a new world of the year 2020, we need digital equipment and communication to survive.

Therefore, Nepal is launching its satellite within 2 years.

  • A statement by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.

We are launching our own satellite and will begin our operations within 2 years. We are setting up this satellite to improve the telecommunication services and prevent the bandwidth outflow to outside countries.

Meanwhile, the budget for the upcoming fiscal year has many interesting turns. One of the highlights is the installation of the satellite.

Advantage of Satellite

Satellite installation is one expensive project for a developing country like Nepal.

In contrast, it has many benefits that can help fast development and ensures an easy lifestyle for people.

With domestic satellites, the internet can reach even remote places.

In addition, it is extremely ideal for broadcasting applications which require only one-way communication.

However, this will develop communication services dramatically for Nepal.
