For different generations, the fun has entirely different meanings. And now, it has a different meaning if you search online. If you search keywords online fun, paid fun, paid girl, online service, Paytm fun, service girl that’s enough proof for you to find out what the fun actually means these days.

Because of the banishment of pornographic websites, social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp were also to restrict such content. However, online fun is the new trend at play.

What is online fun?

Your guess is right. If you search on these keywords, you can get in contact with one of these online fun service providers. A girl will video call you on either Instagram or WhatsApp and strip live. Though she will ask you for payment first. Payment is done online through Paytm, Google Pay, and other apps.

A girl name Priti (pseudo) unwillingly talked to a reporter about this trend. They charge just Rs. 200 for a 15-minute session.  However, it was a bad day for her so she agreed to a quick chat.

She said that because of huge competition now they only find enough customers on Sunday and Saturday. It’s difficult on the weekdays. She said she charges at least Rs. 1000 to show her face for 15 minutes. However, some people tend to screen record and then sell it on Instagram.

She also shared the contact of another girl named Priya (pseudo) and warned about uncles posing as girls to steal money.

Porn banned but what about dating apps?

Dating apps like Tinder, TrulyMadly, OkCupid, etc. have a significant amount of such profiles. It’s really hard to find genuine profiles which is why some girls actually write “Not into this online fun business” in their profiles. It’s easy to catch the attention of men. People create a fake profiles by posting seductive pictures of some random girls. Then they charge Rs 200 or Rs 500 for sharing intimate photos or videos on social media after getting paid.

While talking with Priti’s friend Priya, she shared that they use real girl pictures to make the profile look realistic for getting enough money from their matches. Once the money is received, they share whatever they like. She also mentioned that she has various dating accounts from various apps with different photos. Also, she shares saved random pictures and videos after receiving the money. Sometimes she is even willing to take Rs. 50 on rough days.

The frauds and ‘demo available’

Most of the online fun workers are already sex workers. Priya and Priti belong to Sonagachi, Asia’s largest red-light district, in Kolkata. There are many such workers from different parts of India.

Along with this trend, fraud incidents are also a challenge. As the payment is done first, there is no guarantee that the customer will get what they hoped. This is a challenge for both customers and service providers. Some do this fraud if they are not in the mood or when they need extra cash. Also due to the fact that no customer will complain about losing Rs. 500 to online fun.

Some service providers posts screenshots and blurred screen recordings to show their customers about the real deal. Whereas, some have started offering demo calls at Rs. 50 to convince the customer. They usually try to hold customers more for making Rs. 500 in every 15 minutes.

Selling spycam pictures

Online fun also includes selling pictures collected from various spy cams placed in public toilets, hotel rooms, changing rooms, or other various private spaces. These kinds of pictures are sold in bulks on various social platforms like Insta and WhatsApp on rs. 30 for 10 pictures. Video prices are usually higher.

Instagram blocks porn content, but users find ways

Even though Instagram has been blocking such offensive content, Users tend to find different ways to run their business. They post the face of a girl on a profile and then they run their service through direct messages. They exchange numbers and share pictures or videos through WhatsApp or telegram.

However, Instagram removes such profiles if reported that associate with online fun. It is still not enough as it takes just an email id to open another fake profile.
