It looks like no smartphone company wants to get left behind in the trend for launching 120Hz display devices. POCO launched the Poco X3 in India recently through a virtual event on the brand’s social media platform and YouTube. It might soon be making it’s way to Nepal as well. So, let’s check out the features, specs, and expected price of Poco X3 in Nepal.

Poco X3 Overview

The Poco X3 was originally pinned as a rival to the OnePlus Nord. The key highlight of this device is that it includes a new chipset inside. The global variant of this smartphone is called the “POCO X3 NFC”.

Design and Display

Poco X3 Display

The Poco X3 comes with a curved back design that blends with the middle frame. The back panel has a two-tone finish with a large ‘POCO’ branding towards the bottom. The quad-camera setup at the back is quite unique with flagship-grade specs.

On the front, it sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution. Another highlight of the Poco X3 is that it boasts a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

There’s also a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 against scratch and drop.

Cameras

The optics on the Poco X3 have flagship-grade specs. The quad-camera setup includes a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide angle sensor with the FOV of 119 degrees, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

For the graphics requirements, we get the Adreno 618 GPU. The LiquidCool technology on the Poco X3 takes care of the thermals, reducing the temperature by up to 6 degrees.

The smartphone runs on MIUI 12 for Poco, on top of Android 10.
