Machhapuchhre Bank has launched a contactless card service to ease Visa card transactions.
Now you do not need to remember your card PIN number while transacting at POS. With contact-less card service, you can easily do transactions without entering any PIN number.
Transactions can be completed easily by tapping on POS thanks to the card’s ‘Tap and Pay feature, according to the bank.
Here’s the catch, the transaction should be up to Rs 2,000. The bank has also confirmed that PIN is not needed when making payments of up to Rs 2,000. Using the bank’s debit and credit cards via contactless card.
The bank said that the majority of its POS machines have been upgraded with a ‘Tap and Pay’ feature for this service.
