Microsoft recently awards Pankaj Thakur, 22 years old Nepali boy.

Microsoft awards Nepali Security Researcher Pankaj Thakur more than NRs 40 lakh.

After three hours of continuous effort, he detected significant bugs in the RCE vulnerability of the render process in the Edge browser.

He was awarded for finding a security issue in the edge browser. He found Remote Code Execution (RCE) bug in Microsoft Edge.

He was also awarded 1.2 million on January 27 for finding a bug in iCloud.

Pankaj Thakur is originally from Mahottari. He is currently working in Cyber Security Company Synak.

So, far he has received 16 Bug Bounty Rewards from Apple and 11 Hall of Frame awards from Apple.

Earlier, he had also received the highest reward of USD 20,000 from a company in the Netherlands.

Thakur returned to Nepal from Hyderabad with a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity.

He has so far been able to detect companies such as Microsoft, Google, Apple, big media like the BBC, and the world’s most expensive car maker BMW.

He has helped to protect data from companies and clients from data breaches.
