Nepal Telecom Bhairahawa Operates IP TV on NTTV, Upto 185 Channels Can Be Watched. Nepal Doorsanchar Company Ltd. is popularly known as Nepal Telecom or NTC.

It is a state-owned telecommunication service provider in Nepal which have 91.49 percent of the government share.

Nepal Telecom Provincial Directorate Bhairahawa is launching an IP TV service through FTTH from July 20.

The service of the NT TV brand starts in the first phase in Bhairahawa, Butwal, Tansen, Tamghas, Sandhikharka, Parasi, and Toulihawa of Lumbini province.

The preparations are made to expand the service to all areas under the directorate in the coming days.

Director of Nepal Telecom Provincial Directorate Bhairahawa, Javindra Upadhyaya informed about the preparations.

The concept will come into implementation after the telecom provides NT TV service as well as voice and data services from FTTH service so far.

Currently distributed NT TV service is available to all national and regional television channels of the country.

In addition, almost all foreign television channels available and watched in Nepal will be available to customers.

The company is currently providing NT TV service in two packages, Vesic and Premium.

There are 102 television channels in Vesic and 185 in premium television channels, the telco said.
