Tribhuvan University Applications has published a notice for all the member colleges and campuses to invite admissions for BSc Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc CSIT) through an entrance exam for the academic year 2080.

Tribhuvan University (TU) has officially opened its doors to applicants seeking admission to its esteemed four-year bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science and Information Technology (B.Sc. CSIT).
The Institute of Science and Technology Studies, under the aegis of Tribhuvan University, released an official notification on Friday, announcing the commencement of admissions to the B.Sc. CSIT course.
Application Process and Important Dates:
Prospective students eager to embark on a journey of technological excellence can submit their applications online through TU’s official page. For the incoming batch of 2080, aspiring students are required to take part in the entrance examination.
The application portal for the entrance exam will be accessible starting from 10 am on the 32nd of July. The deadline for submitting applications for the entrance exam is set for the 26th of August. However, students still have the option to submit their applications until August 31st by paying a double fee.
Entrance Examination Details:
As part of the admission process, candidates need to clear a written entrance test, the format of which resembles CAT/GRE examinations. For eligibility, candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2 or equivalent education with a background in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing a minimum grade of C in each subject.
For those who pursued A levels, the minimum requirement is a grade D in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Selection for admission is determined by an 80% score from the entrance examination and a 20% aggregate score from the intermediate level.

The last date for submission of admission forms: Bhadra 26, 2080 (September 12, 2023)
Application form submission with double fee: Bhadra 27 to 31, 2079 (September 13-17, 2080)
Application form fee: Rs. 1850 only.
