The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal and the Social Security Fund (SSF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing took place in the presence of the Honorable Minister for Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Mr. Sharat Singh Bhandari.

The event occurred during the fifth National Labor and Employment Conference. The Honorable Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the conference on March 10 and 1, 2025 AD. The theme was “Enhancing Productivity for Internal Employment Promotion.”

Key Points of the Agreement

NADA will ensure its affiliated associations and institutions register with the SSF. This aligns with the Labor Act, 2074, and the Contribution-Based Social Security Act, 2074. The SSF will collaborate with NADA to conduct awareness programs about its social security schemes and benefits.

Mr. Karan Chaudhary, President of NADA, and Mr. Kaviraj Adhikari, Executive Director of SSF, signed the MoU. NADA believes this agreement will strengthen its relationship with the SSF in the future.

Training and Collaboration

NADA will include SSF trainers in its provincial training programs. These programs cover VAT, customs, and vehicle registration. The collaboration aims to enhance workers’ skills and knowledge in the automobile sector.

Helmets Nepal,” which has been making a distinct mark in the helmet market for the past nine years, has entered into a business partnership with Yamaha Nepal. The agreement was signed during an event held in Kathmandu.

According to the agreement, Helmets Nepal will now have outlets in Yamaha motorcycle showrooms, where helmets, safety gear, and accessories will be available. In the first phase, Helmets Nepal outlets will be located in Yamaha showrooms in Teku, Maharajgunj, and Gaththaghar, Bhaktapur. Additionally, Yamaha’s Blue Square showroom in Naxal will offer an exchange facility.

Helmets Nepal’s Managing Director, Sajal Joshi, stated that they plan to further expand these facilities in the coming days.

This collaboration between Yamaha Nepal and Helmets Nepal is expected to redefine road safety and riding culture in Nepal in a more refined manner. Customers will now have access to motorcycles, helmets, safety gear, and riding accessories under one roof. Previously operating through two state-of-the-art showrooms, Helmets Nepal will now be providing services from a total of six locations.

Nepal has welcomed the arrival of 15-seater and 16-seater EV vans under the RZM brand, manufactured by China’s renowned Shangchi RZM Auto.

These electric vans have been introduced to the Nepali market through a collaboration between National Motors and Rathi Trading.

Official Launch and Partnership

The official announcement was made at a special event attended by Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, Managing Director of National Motors; Dinesh Kumar Rathi, Managing Director of Rathi Trading; and Ken Sun, International General Manager of Shangchi RZM Auto. The event also featured Manoj Khatriwada, CEO of RZM Auto Nepal, who discussed the reasons for introducing the RZM brand and its features. Additionally, Manoj Bikram Shah, Executive Director of National Motors, highlighted the company’s history with SML Isuzu and the expansion with the RZM brand.
