A few months back the full specification of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was leaked. Likewise, its retail box also got leaked which includes pretty much all of the specifications. And now there is a reveal of Oppo A7 specs which has not been launched yet. The specs are just rumors for now so we don’t need to worry whether it will be convincing one or not.

As per the suggestions, Oppo A7 comes with 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels. Similarly, it has a high chance to run on Snapdragon 450 Soc guided by the Adreno 506GPU. In case of storage, it is expected to come with 3GB and 4GB RAM with only one storage option of 32GB but can be expanded.

The device will prolly feature 13MP f/2.2 and 2MP f/2.4 dual camera set up at the back. Similarly, the front camera of mobile will be of a 16MP f/2.0 camera with the usual AI tricks built in. Apple claims that the new iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR features solid glass cover, expect in new iPhones the kind of protection has not been equipped in any other phones till date.

The company states, the front and back side of new iPhones have sturdy glass cover than of iPhone X.

For the first time in history, scientists have developed a rollable touch-screen tablet – taking inspiration from ancient scrolls to create a modern-day device. The device which is named as MagicScroll is equipped with a high-resolution flexible display that can be rolled or unrolled around a central, 3D-printed cylindrical body containing the device’s computerized inner-workings. The device is built by research scientists at Queen’s University Human Media Lab.

Two rotating wheels placed at the end of the cylinder let the user scroll through information on the touchscreen. When a user narrows in on an exciting piece of content that they would like to examine more intensely, at that time the display can be unrolled and perform as a tablet display.

The device can be easily held in one hand because of its lightweight and cylindrical body. It can be fit in your pocket when it is rolled up and can be used as a phone, dictation device or pointing device.

“The ancient design of scrolls inspired us because their form allows for a more natural, uninterrupted experience of long visual timelines,” said Roel Vertegaal, a professor at the Queen’s University in Canada.

One of its amazing features is it allows for infinite scroll action for quick browsing through long lists.

“Unfolding the scroll is a tangible experience that offers a full-screen view of the selected item. Picture browsing through your Instagram timeline, messages or LinkedIn contacts this way,” Vertegaal informed.

Also with many impressive features, the prototype also features a camera that allows users to employ the rolled-up MagicScroll as a gesture-based control device — similar to that of Nintendo’s ‘Wiimote.’

The team has made a video showcasing the prototype in action (embedded below), and will be demonstrating the project at the MobileHCI conference on Human-Computer Interaction in Barcelona next month.

Reportedly, South Korea based mobile company Samsung is setting up for a significant overhaul of its Galaxy J-series lineup, launching new series and merging others. The J-series mobile of Samsung had gained massive popularity in South Asian countries.

As per the report, by phasing out the J-series, Samsung is coming up with the new A-series.  Comparatively, A -series mobile will be more expensive than of J series. Similarly, the company will also add some economic mobile in the new A-series.

As per our reliable source, the companies claim that after launching A-series mobile phones Samsung will fend off competition from cheaper Chinese phones.

If you are a college student, a laptop is as sensual as your textbooks and ID cards. To do all of that and more, here are the basics you should keep in your mind when you are looking for a laptop for a college.

The first step is to check with your school for specific system requirements. Universities do not only specify the operating systems like Mac or windows, but their recommended system may also come with necessary pre-installed software or even special price discount. The campus IT staffs may also explicitly geared towards maintaining or fixing certain laptop brands. If you’re not sure who to ask, where to look for information about these things, check with your school’s bookstore first.

Since you’ll be lugging your laptop around campus every day, an ultraportable with a 13 inch or 14-inch screen and a weight below 3 pounds is going to be your best bet.

A smaller screen will make you do lots of tedious scrolling through spreadsheets and web pages. On the other hand, a laptop that’s too big will put unnecessary strain on your back and shoulders especially, if you are also carrying lots of books.
